Help..cant recall film title,want to buy dvd if poss

ok..i rented dvd approx year ago, cant recall name..but want to buy it for someone..this is what i can recall...
woman is nurse in opening scene and nursing an old dying man, after he dies she leaves hospital to care for man bed ridden in own home with sinister wife!
set in Louisiana area with Voodoo involved because it turns out this man who cant speak has been possessed by former home owners or thier black slaves, it gets quite creepy with the voodoo and this nurses friend tries to explain the dark side to her but she ends up "losing her body" by being possessed by sinister wife!!!:eek:
