Do Currys do a price match/promise?

Does anyone know if Currys do a price promise I've just bought a Sony LCD TV on Monday and Comet are now doing the same one £100.00 cheaper.

Can anyone help?

dont know about Currys but PC world do price match but NOT on televisions .

Yes Currys have a price promise and you can see it here.
However, you have already bought the TV (and I'm assuming you've used it) there is nothing you can do. [Obviously if it's not used you could return it if you wished and rebuy using the price promise]

Yea they do a price match, check their price promise on the receipt, may still be 110% of the difference, (used to be) actually giving you £110 back. By tomorrow they will have probably put the price down in their own store in line with comet so they can match to their own price, they offer a 7 day price promise that if it goes down within 7 days or u find it cheaper anywhere else, comet does 14 days. I work at comet, used to work at currys a year ago. EDIT: I'd check the full price promise coz they may try to just give you 100% and only the extra 10% if u ask for it

I suppose I could call their bluff and say its still boxed and try for a refund. I still have all the packaging. Thanks for that I bought it in store so will call up tomorrow

The price promise covers you for up to 7 days after purchase, if you paid by card they should do it over the phone for you.

Well, I phoned up and they sent me to the store where I bought it. A quick call to Comet to see if it was in stock and I was refunded £110.00 with no hassle.:T
