Oooh, I remember that episode. Yep it definitely gave off the impression that the bridal shop had screwed up with the dress. Blimey, she did look a state with the feathers lol

Yup - that's what I thought until my friend told me the real story. I felt so sorry for the shop owner! Who'd go to her after they'd seen that!
  • my OH and I applied for the last series of Don't tell the bride, after you send them the more detailed email and picture they then ring you to discuss ideas and dreams over the phone, my guess is that if you don't catch their attention then you don't get through (as happened with us). They ask a lot of contradicting questions ie Whats your dream wedding if money was no object. What type of wedding are you planning. What type of wedding would your partner like if money was no object and what type of wedding does he want now! I'm not sure about other's but i didn't want a lavish affair, i wanted a simple but elegant day and the other half wanted the lavish affair (strange but true) so i don't think we would necessarily have disagreed on things.

I was on the show, its being aired 6th October I was best man to my brother and can confirm that whilst they do try and push you down certain channels they certainly do not stitch you up, all errors made are genuinly down to the fact the groom does not have a clue.

They dont show you unfortunately, so we have to wait along with everone else. All i can say is it is very tiring and they film sometimes from 8.00 through till 02.00 in the morning, it does become very intrusive, but hey my brother got a free wedding out of it.
