replacing sugar with honey in applesauce?

I've got a fair few apples waiting to make apple sauce with, has anyone had any success with replacing the sugar with honey in an apple sauce recipe
I don't know how much to use? The recipe I have calls for 4 apples, 180ml water, 50g sugar and 1g of cinnamon...will be doubling or possibly trebling this recipe but have not made it before and am hoping someone has some pointers.....

I dont know whats what re equivalency - but personally I would use 2 reasonably heaped teaspoons of honey for that quantity of apples (ie 4 apples).0

i stewed my apples the other day and forgot to put the sugar in so i just stirred in runny honey till it tasted ok, didnt need much and melted with the heat, in fact i think i will do that from now on instead of guessing the amount of sugar to use0
