Even cheaper fuel at Sainsbury's

I bought a fairly large shop at Sainsbury's yesterday, which came to £46-odd. They have a promotion where anyone buying over £50 of stuff gets 5p per litre off fuel at their petrol stations, so I bought a book of stamps to take me over the £50 threshold. After paying for it by credit card, I didn't get a voucher. I complained and was told that certain things are exempt from the £50, including stamps.

I went to the service desk, and was given the money back for my stamps (in cash), and was given a hand-written voucher to use. So not only did I get £2.50 of my petrol, but I didn't have to spend £50 :beer:

Just been to my local S.

Absolute b****y chaos - 94.9/litre plus another 5p off if you've spent £50 in store. You can't get out of the main car park because of the queue for petrol !!!

Morissons is the same 94.9 petrol and diesel was 107.9...
