Hi
Dad is getting a new car and want's an fm trasmiter for his Mp3 player so he can anoy Mum with Folk music all the time (LOL). The new car hasn't got a tape machine only a single cd player (- he's used to a 6 cd inter-changer!)
Seriously though, he has asked me to find out
A) if they are legal
what is the best / cheepest
Any help would be appreciated
thanks
Niki

:xmassmile I wouldn't worry about your first question because they only transmit for a few feet and this does not cause problems to anyone!
See this other thread as it does not matter if it's an iPrat or an MP3 player that you want to pipe though the cars stereo. :rudolf:

Actually they are technically illegal, and also the sound quality may not be that good.
What I did was bought an interface box that connects to the CD-Changer interface on my stereo and then lets me plug my MP3 player (not an IPOD) into that. You can't control it via the stereo or anything but the sound quality is probably a lot better than FM. The box cost me about £60 but was worth it.
What sort of car is it?0 -
