What quite a few people do on these boards is to buy their Xmas wrapping paper, cards, tags, string etc... in the January sales. Won't help you this year, but something to keep in mind. Its also worthwhile buying (in the sales) xmas paper without santa's etc... on as it will do for birthday wrapping paper too.

Don't know of any websites but Poundland have quite a good range of gift wrap and gift bags.
