Tesco Energy Saving Bulbs, 5 for 40p

I have hunted and cannot find this already mentioned, so here goes.
Tescos Beamont Leys, Leicester
End of aisle display of Energy Saving Bulbs
Most on bogof.....which they have been for a while now, but also spotted several yellow sels advertising 5 for 40p.
Convinced it couldn't possibly be right - and already working out what dtd would get me, I picked the exact bulbs I needed.....and got all 5 for 40p, a saving of £4.60

Now I know there are loads of these energy saving ones about - and I have got loads free, but they always send me the same type.

In an effort to save even more money, I have got loads of lamps - and tend to have these on, rather than a ceiling fitting which has 3, 4 or 5 bulbs in it.
Most of my lamps are screw fittings, and even worse, SMALL screw fittings.( Ikea lamps seem to all take these small screw bulbs)
The ones I got tonight at Tesco were small screw, and they had the normal size one as well

I have just checked the Tesco website to see if I could get a picture to show you all which ones, and found this:

It says the offer finishes on Tuesday - so it really is a Grabbit Quick offer
Forgot to say, these are not the old "6 year" ones they were getting rid of earlier in the year, but the new 10 year ones

Just spotted this in my local Tesco and grabbed myself some of these bulbs.. can't go wrong at that price... lol

Hubbie saw them in Gaywood, King's Lynn Tesco as well.

Well, I just brought 20 earlier this eveneing - no problems a the checkout!

think it was a bit daft to have them in boxes of 12

I bought 2 x 5 (Today), thought it made more sense to have them in packs of 10

For anyone who can't get these, Morrisons are also doing 5 for 50p, only 10p more.

Went Morrisons today, no mention of the offer anywhere despite it being in the Sun. Managed to get some in tesco though. They were moving very quick, people were buying trays full as there was no limit mentioned.

yes they were doing them in Oldham store

most of the stock was with screw top not the normal one:D

didn't buy any as i have enough stock of them(freebies):D

Managed to buy 20 yesterday as well, no questions at the checkout...but none on the shelves today....
