Please post the provider's name and the maturity forecasts for the endowment.

Also the interest rate payable on mortgage if you have one (doesn't matter that it's not connected.) .
    Trying to keep it simple...;)

... and then you'll be told to cash it in or sell it...

... but don't forget the mortgage promise. After all, we all know what their promises are worth.

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those that don't.
  • When all is said and done it is essentially a judgement call.

You seem to understand the options and therefore it is only yourself that can call it.

Please remember projections are based on objective assumptions and therefore reflect the outcome if X happens.

X never happens, irrespective of how many x variables there are.

Folks tend to get caught up in trying to analyse it to death to ensure they squeeze the last penny from it and in doing so develop a cloudy view.

I would suggest standing back and taking a view on what the likely losses are if the product performs v Building Society and vice versa.

Seems to me £5K (£18- £23) is a lot of tollerance and if you get it wrong either way by £500 does it matter to the extent you would be reaching for the razor blades?

    In summary don't over complicate.
