  • I just got one for my parents, who are 78 & 82. The guy actually asked me my age and when I told him it was for them and their ages he said no problem. (I gave their name and address) Thanks for posting this!

    Please be sensible about applying for this. Given the website it's on, I suspect it's intended for people who are on certain (mobility-related) benefits.
    Yes, you are right.
    You have to be on higher rate mobilitiy component of DLA.
    Not sure it should be posted as a general freebie for everyone, if they're not on DLA.

    No, people claiming child tax credits, income support and jobseekers allowance are entitled also!! :)

    Motability is for people on HR mobility DLA. :)

    You can get one of these plugs if you are claiming any benefits.

    I was only asked my age not if I was claiming benefits apparently you need to be 70 or more

  • you do have to be on some sort of benefit. I am on a state pension but, didn't qualify. I phoned this morning.
