Thank you for this advice. I just tried it on the coffee table and it works. If you know the scratch is there and look hard you can see it but you'd never notice it otherwise.0 -
I have used a simple wax crayon for this, raided the crayon box for the nearest colour and rubbed in it also tried it with felt tip then polished over oh and brown shoe polish!!!Slightly bitter0

My much loved and now departed cat had only one fault (apart from dying prematurely!) which was sharpening his claws on my dining table legs. The 'Furniture Balm' from Lakeland was the only thing that worked to hide the scratches (of which there were hundreds and hundreds). If you PM me I can put some in a little plastic bottle and post it, as it's quite expensive (about £12 maybe?) and it might not be the thing for your mum's problem.0
