HSBC variable rate

Our mortgage t&c's indicate that Hsbc "guarantee never to charge more than 1% over the B of E base rate".

Anyone got any idea when they are likely to advise existing curstomers that their rate has been reduced?

    They notified me about a week after the rate went down, they emailed directly to my bank account.
