    It's Rant (not RAnt)
Sentences should begin with a capital letter, and end with a full stop.
Is it necessary to correct other's grammar on a moneysaving forum?

    Hi

The first two are 'fingers going faster than brain'-type mistakes[also not sure that they are grammar as opposed to spelling] :)

No excuse for the last one ...other than I was ranting!!! lol lol

I only point out the really 'bad grammar' [imo] lol

As someone once said, "Our grammer and spelling is getting worser and far badder" lol

Anyway, back to the topic at hand...the moisturiser cost £1.80-ish? for the paper plus £1.75 for P&P [real P&P cost is less than 50p]. So how is it a bargain.

Apologies to OP I wasn't slagging them off, merely using the thread to illustrate not everything is a true bargain ...same as when I asked if a pair of jeans @ £39 was a bargain just because they were reduced from £129? They cost £3/5 to make, and the rest is profit, so why should we believe £39 is a bargain?? But we do!!!

    Always up for a discussion!!!

Personally I find that drinking 2 litres of water does wonders for my skin and it's FREE.

In my view your diet, what you drink, how much sun exposure you have are more important than a cream.

I'm not saying don't use creams, but I think there is far too much emphasis on that (for commercial reasons) rather than diet and lifestyle.

I agree with you both. I'm not trying to get into arguments with people on here and also love a good debate, but I do seriously worry about the nasties contained in many of our everyday products. I think it's a real shame that in the future we may find that many serious health issues could have been avoided if people hadn't been led to believe that it was safe to use said products.

Again this '2 litres of water a day' has been proven to be a complete urban myth....science shows it to make no difference as long as you take in enough fluids to stay hydrated [ie the liquid in your food/coffee/etc all count - so the people who seem to have a water bottle permanently attached to their hand are wasting their time, money and the earth's resources [gee, what a waste shipping water around the world in plastic bottles]

Agree to an extent about diet and sun exposure, etc....but the biggest aspect [never mentioned because there is absolutely nothing you can do to alter it] is the same as for heart attacks and intelligence....choose your parents very, very carefully...lol
