Having win some free choccies this is my opinion of how it works and hopefully it may help others out...
1. Your chance of winning is determined soon as your submit your contact details and press Play
2. It doesn't matter if you play Accessible version, the flash version or by SMS, your chance of winning is exactly the same
3. That chance is however determined by the following airy-fairy condition:
"Prizes will be awarded to those whose receipt of entry (by text or online) most immediately follows 10,107 randomly selected winning moments (selected under independent supervision)."
4. I don't believe that to be true as I won about 4 times in the space of 20 minutes in the middle of the night and as hard I try to believe it, I don't think there were 10,107 plays between each of my wins!
5. The win on the Accessible version is always on the 3rd box (imo) and that holds true for the flash version (imo). For me only the 3rd box ever rumbles, and every time I have played, my win has come from the 3rd box.
6. If I don't win on the 3rd box of the Flash version, I go back and try again! Some people play to the end and have won but with my record it's the 3rd box rule!
7. The reason I don't belive any box beyond the 3rd box to be a winner is because on that 3rd box, "the rumbling box", the game contacts the game server to find out what position this session is comapred to other to decide if it is definately the winner or not. It rumbles not as much for suspense and excitement as it does to get in touch with the server and check the status of the game!
Of course this is all IMHO0 -

I think you may have misunderstood - it is 10,107 moments over the WHOLE competition period.
10,000 choccy packs
100 Wiis
7 holidays
The reason you can win more easily in the early hours is because there are fewer people playing. The pre-determined moment may have been a full ten minutes BEFORE you click - but if you are the first person to click AFTER that moment, then the prize is yours.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

Ah thanks for that - I knew it was airy-fairy and I totally misconstrued!0 -
The Utterly Butterly and Heinz Dreamz comps run the same way too.
There is NO way of gaining an advantage over these comps except by entering at 5 am etc or using multiple email addresses (or both)
The accessible version is no more likely to win but takes less time so you can fit more goes in a shorter time period - AND it is less bloody annoying! :rotfl:
All my choccies and the Wii were won on accessible because I can't bear the clicky-on-boxes game
