OK so I thought I was getting a bargain cos they're on BOGOF at the moment with Mr T, so I filled my freezer. Only I've just opened the first box & they look vile. Are they? I mean, they look the absolute epitome of processed food. Not entirely sure why I allowed the BOGOF sign persuade me to buy them, but I did & I need them out of my freezer to make space for decent stuff.
Any ideas what I can make them into? How can I tart them up into something less 'processed' IYSWIM?
I have a feeling this will be a challenge cos I always thought I was full of ideas but I'm stumped... please help, I really don't want to be one of those people who throw food away.

We've all been there......sadly I really can't see what you can do with them. What are they filled with Katie? If its any consolation I've just read Bill Bryson's book & he describes growing up on processed stuff in the 50's - he says even veggies were turned into something you could bake in the oven.
I'm sure someone with something useful to say will be along soon
best wishes....0 -
hmm yes I had a feeling I'd be stuck with them. There's cheese ones and some which are chicken & bacon. Even my 2yr old who will eat ANYTHING won't touch this stuff....ah well, perhaps chalk it down to experience.0

Maybe if you covered them in cheese sauce and a sprinkle of pretty veggies? A few bits of chopped peppers and onions etc?
Just imagine you're trying to disguise a new way of cooking lentils or something?

I sometimes get a hankering for these, as they remind me of my childhood. But like everything they've downsized them and were never really very nice. But I'm sure they'll fill a hole now and again.
Oystercatcher's idea of covering them with cheese sauce, so they're like some sort of cannelloni affair seems a good bet.0
