scarlet, they are fairly quick the co-op, but if you open it now and have your basic money and dd's going out of there the OR will probably let you keep it open as they know you need a bank account. My OR was was happy for me to keep my basic abbey account, but abbey wasn't, he ho!0

We have just phoned Co-op to try opening a cashminder account before going BR and have just been informed to call back wednesday for a decision as we may not qualify due to bad credit history?!?!0

Messimoney, it's very rare for them not to give an account, they gave me one and I owed them money! Took a couple of days of referal, so fingers crossed for you.0
