Cifas Password

Options
Hello,
I've recently applied for an advance on my mortgage and have been approved. Today though theyve rang me and asked if I have had any fraud on any of my accounts. Well I had a fraud attempt through a catalogue and Cifas asked me to set up a password. Now the bank has asked me to provide two forms of photo ID (of which I only have one) and the password that I set up. The stupid thing is that I can't remember the password, I have some idea but how many goes do I get!! It's totally my own fault but basically I can't get the money until I do this! Does anyone know if they can reset a password?

Thank you
Nicky

Banks always make a point of telling you that they will never ask for your password. So, I would be wary of that.

  • Thanks. It was the lady who dealt with our application on saturday that's all I can say! I've emailed Cifas to see what they say.
