Process Fees

I purchased a tv package last year with 1 year interest free credit. I have just received the payment details which now include a Payment Processing Fee of £22.56. I was not informed of this at the point of sale and am told this was added in March of this year after I was informed by email some 5 months after original purchase. I have written to Clode Retail Finance disputing this extra fee. Clode have now informed me that the terms & conditions may change and that they have done so adding this process fee. This is open to abuse and should I really have to pay this 1.6% price hike ? Surely Credit companies cannot just add on fees willy nilly once payment agreements have been signed.

No, they cannot just change their T&C after the contract was signed.
I would go to Financial Ombudsman saying that they are misseling their product and that you believe this was deliberate.0 -
If the amounts change - complain through their official process.0

The thing is it states in their T&C that they are subject to change, is this there get out clause. How do I get a Financial Ombudsman involved and at what cost ?0
