Bankruptcy forms ready, one last question..

I have to file my bankruptcy forms before the end of month, as that is when the next payments are due to creditors. At this point none of them have any idea on my problems, as all are up to date. However as soon as I start proceedings, no doubt bank accounts/CC etc will all be closed at which point no money. I am in the middle of waiting a decision from DWP on my claim as I have just switched from incapacity to jobseekers, which should entitle me to Housing and Tax benefit (checked on line and 4 weeks due backdated). I know I will get the jobseekers paid but not the others and the forms were put in 7 days ago. So, money minimal, pending DWP (however they verbally agreed) but usual priority payments due beginning of November. How would it be seen by the court should I generate some money from my accounts to 'Anothers', to ensure I do not start with problems from day one! Any comments please. Thanks

Hi Drimmer,
Could you withdraw cash instead? Might be safest. Unlikely to meet with disapproval if the money is for priority bills and living expenses.

you neednt go BR untill the last minute, and as you havent missed any payments yet that moment hasnt arrived
consider deferring your BR for 2 months (or longer), and saving up for BR fees, etc.
unless you have loads in the bank then clearing em out wont raise eyebrows, many would also hit overdraft limits, which could raise questions (but no huge problem)
in the meantime, consider opening a basic barclays account (or at least have al lthe forms completed for BR day and go from the court to the bank...with DDM details
takes a week to open then sort payments, etc.Now we all know how it felt to play in the band on the Titanic...0
