I need a set of home phones !
I need a twin set of digital phones with an answering machine built in.
I've been looking at the panasonic one's for around £70.
Wondered if anyone else had bought some recently ??
I need a good set...the last 4 sets have been poo !

I've just bought a quad set of panasonic phones and they are fantastic. I didn't have to program all four as they have a facility to send all the numbers stored to all the other handsets - v. clever. I had some southwestern bell ones and they were terrible.
I would highly recommend these although a tad expensive I think for a set of phonesI haven't got one!0 -
I've just bought a set of BT Freelance XA3000. They are on special at Argos at the mo. at half price. I'm very pleased with them & the instructions are easy to follow. I've only ever bought BT phones as I've found the quality reliable. I particularly wanted phones with a handsfree feature, which is why I chose this particular model. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Cant rememeber the exact model number but I have bought a pair of Siemens S200?? gigaset phones from phones4u for £80. These have colour display, texting function etc. After a disasterous pair Binatone of which were rubbish. The siemens are the only phones to come anywhere near the quality of my Ericsson Dect phone I had originally.
I would highly recommend. If you are after only one handset with ansaphone, Tchibo are doing a rebadged Siemens for £50 at the momemnt.0 -
I bought these about two months ago and they are excellent. Multi polyphonic ringtones, volume control and clarity like no other. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5518793.htm I see they are out of stock at the moment but would recommend waiting for them to come in (maybe cheaper!)0

I bought this one and it is good. One annoying feature though - the numbers light up but not the button to answer it (which is a bit daft and particularly useless if you take the phone to bed at night) But, I think you may be able to set it up for any key answer, just haven't done it yet. I was going to get the 3 hanset model and sell one of them on ebay to bring the cost down for me, but they only had the twin set and I really needed a new phone and could not wait.0
