If you have a spare room definately consider a lodger as the income is tax-free.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
  • will look at getting a lodger - to maximise it i guess i'd have to use the small room and let the larger room...
Obviously there are other costs such as council tax going up from a single occupancy discount, fuel etc, just saved 12.00 a month by dumping crapwest - for an alliance and leicester account

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Thanks B_o_s - changed from talk talk to Tiscalli with broad band 9.99 for 3 months then 14.99 there after - better than talk talk's 15.99 pcm for just calls - Once this is set up i'll sort out sky to a low viewing band, and get rid of their Broad band.. saving about £12.00.
My mobile is a work one i contribute £5.00 a month for it - my old mobile is off to mozilla for £22.00
