Help With A Loan From Beneficial Finance
Hi please can anyone assist.
I have recently got behind with monthly payments on a loan, i have paid 75% and only got to Sept 2009 to finish, i have written to the office which gave the loan who has passed the matter to internal dept (executive complaints) i have put a proposal to continue paying at a lesser monthly payment which will extend the loan period. I am constantly getting letters from ther Debt Litigation Recovery Service stating i must pay within the 8 months left.
Can someone advise where i legally stand on this has i thought that if i am prepared to pay something then this is not breaking any rules.
From a very frustrated member of public.

you have signed a contract to pay a certain amount each month until the loan is paid off.
if you don't they can pursue you for the debt... put a default on your credit file, go to court for a CCJ.
if possible try to reach an agreement with them to pay less but be aware they will probably add fees and extra interest.0
