  • maybe a new toaster kettle or a new microwave theres loads to choose from what are you into? what do you need?
If you have a childs trust fund with nectar you can change every 1000 points into £5 for when the child grows up also.
    Hope this helps a little.

I usually just have the points deducted when shopping at Argos.

As far as I know it should be worth £62.50. (If my maths are right :rotfl: )

This is what the Nectar site says for Argos.

Use your Nectar card to instantly redeem for your reward
    £2.50 off your shopping
    500 points

I have used them to pay in Argos before and it is very easy. Just give your Nectar card when you are paying and say you want to use your Nectar points. HTH

I am in a similar position and want to use my points in the most effective way.
I don't yet know which way that is, but I strongly suspect that the worst way would be to buy stuff from the Nectar catalogue!

Maybe someone with the 'inside track' could advise what is the best 'return' for Nectar points?

    Thanks
    Nigel
  • The value of the offers varies a lot but as a general rule of thumb, do not accept less than 0.5p per Nectar point (which is what they are worth in Sainsbury's or Argos all the time).

They occasionally do deals for a short period of time that are worth twice as much (or sometimes more) but you have to be quick before they sell out.
  • If you have shopping to do for christmas, Argos is the best option, especially before 4th Nov. when you will get a voucher for £5 for a £50+ spend or £10 voucher for a £100+ spend.

I only have 3244 points on my nectar card but presume this would equate to £15 at Argos. Can anyone advise how I convert them? Do I simply hand my nectar card to the cashier at Argos or do I have to ask for vouchers online etc? Also can anyone advise if there is anywhere I would get more value for them than £2.50/500?

    many thanks

i don't know whether it's still the case, but you used to get a better deal converting points to beefeater food vouchers etc - it was 500 points = £5 (rather than 500/£2.50)
