I've picked up five packs of shin of beef from Morrisons for £2.50 ive never used it before.
What is the best way to cook it?I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0 -

My butcher recommends shin beef for casseroles. Cook them low and slow and it'll melt in the mouth.

Shin makes the most beautiful curries. In fact, you could make what's known as a Royal Korma with it. Despite Kashmiri roots (I should love creamy and fruity curries but I don't), it's probably the only truly good Korma I know.
If you have a slow cooker, it works lovely.
