Hi all,
I have been handed this afternoon the dreaded letter of intention of selective redundancy.
How will this affect my DMP and my working tax credits for which i receive?
Is there anything i need to do, as i am pretty sure i will be out of a job come next friday!!
Thanks in advance for your help and comments!

hi mate sorry to hear about this.
Did you take out inscrance with the dmp that pays out if you lose your job? (this pays your payments for you when you can not pay). If so you need to tell them So you can claim it. If not then you need to work out if you can still aford the payments. If you can then no problem. If not then you need to speak to them as thay are going to have to try and get your creiters to take a lower payment from you. (this will mean paying for a longer time)
Your tax criedits will go up. You need to take to them to and thay will tell you how to reclaim. Thay will seed new forms out for you to give then your new income and stuff. but thay will give you moere money. Also you can ask them when you phone what else you can claim while you are out of work
Good luck mate and good luck fiding a new job:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
with regards to a DMP, with the pay out i receive which isn't going to be a great deal, will the DMP ask for this money as payment, inclusive of last months missed payment? Are they likey to say "well you have a lump sum of money, please hadn it to us so we can pay off your creditors?"0
