My son wants a new mobile for christmas, where can i get a crackin deal on one of the above, either sim-free of PAYG?

not a bad price at all, wish i'd got one of those now, and free delivery. Or you do get the odd d600 on ebay for about 200.

That looks ok. Are they easy to unlock as he has a sim for Virgin and O2 (all his friends are on these networks so he won't likely use Oranges service, plus we don't get an Orange signal at our house).

Disregard the above - i found a key sequence unlock solution for Samsung D500.

The unlock key sequence doesnt work for all samsung d500, not sure if its the newer ones it wont work for but try a search as there has been some on here looking for an unlock code as that one hasnt worked.

From the source i got it the code appears to work on older software versions then yjere seems to be a batch that it's rather hit or miss and then it seems ok on the newer software on Orange handsets.

Failing that i could try a cable solution inconjunction with expert Samsung tool as the D500 & D600 are compatible with this software.

The d500 is no longer £130 on orange online but £!50, im annoyed as i wanted to buy it.

Anyone think they may put it back to £130 before xmas?

Hi I'm really disapointed as well... I want this phone! I was pricing round on the net only yesterday the Samsung D500 was £130 at orange and now it £150. :xmassign:

Yep, im hoping they will put it back to £130 but i wouldnt hold your breath. If not i will look after xmas and it may be less than £130.
