can any one help me see sense of this, i know ive been wrong not to pay my account, but i now have an agreed arrangement in place to pay £10 a week to my account since the 8th of october which i have been paying every wednesday morning. Now for the bit which is really annoying me and i cant get answer from littlewoods about it.
i got my statement in just 10mins ago in the post and this is what it reads:
total from last month £375.74
8th oct payment £10.00
15th oct payment £10.00
6th oct debt collection telephone call £12.00
18th oct missed minimum payment fee £12.00
18th oct interest £10.56
18th oct new total £390.30
why can they charge me £12 for a telephone call, then charge me £12 for missed payment after the date the arrangement was set up when they said no more charges would be inccurred if i stuck to the agreed payment plan which i am doing. All i want is to get rid of littlewoods but i cant if they keep adding charges for phoning me, why should i pay £12 for a call which
would cost a maximum of 20p. Can they get away with this.
If i hadnt buried my head in the sand over this yes it probably would have been paid by now but i have the guts to admit i was wrong.
i think my origional bill stood at about £150 now i am paying double, does this mean that every time they phoned me i have been charged £12 a call, i have seen them call me twice sometimes three times a month.

When was the account opened? Was it an online account?
You may be able to request a copy of the credit agreement if it was pre April 2007.
I would also think about reclaiming all charges they have applied to you as the charges are not relecting the true cost. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

This account was opened in 2006 ,as i said buried head in sand. And can someone point me in the direction of reclaiming the charges if its possible it would probably pay some of it if not all of it. oh and it was an online account and regards to the credit agreement can i request it from the company and what will it show me ??
any further help would be appreciated.Became Debt Free 2009

The first thing you would need to do when reclaiming charges is to send a subject access request (SAR-cost £10). This will mean they have to send all information they hold on you including documentation (including the credit agreement) and any transaction details for the past 6 years.
Not too sure how online credit agreements work, but i'm sure it's been covered on the board before. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
