Folks - see when you are feeling down anyway? May as well work!
I've just put my overtime claim in for all the hours I did when i was toodown to do anything else... £700!
So that's christmas, fixed teeth AND a little boost to paying off that credit card in December
Such a good feeling!
Hiya hun,
Just wanted to say hi and well done for doing so well over the last 3 years. DW and I sit in the living room with candles & T lights, it's surprising how bright they are & how warm they make the room. Well done on claiming your overtime back what a boost, hope you get your tooth sorted out. Anyway just wanted to say hi and stick with it, you're halfway there.

Best best BEST news!
I've been accepted for my local credit union, an they've agreed to fix my cahoot loan (all £8000 worth!) at 8%
I've also started a small savings scheme for £50 a month. my plan is that anything over six months worth will be withdrawn and thrown at the debt too.0 -
Bloomin 'eck. Just started reading this thread and that's a very nice result and rate

Do you know if you can overpay this loan or are you putting extra aside into a savings account incase you can get an early settlement later?
The savings scheme looks like a good plan - leaves you some security so you don't need to worry about toothache again and still keeps you focussed on saving.

Hellooooo!
today is a good day
I got the offer for those credit card charges - and - its enough to pay off my final ever credit card!
I'm officially credit card free for the first time in 14 years.
By the end of this week when i get paid i will also have topped the £20,000 paid back mark in just over 3 years.
Cant tell you how it feels. The next 2 years stretch ahead a bit, but I can do it!0 -
Well done on coming so far! Good weekend feeling
ps hope the tooth got fixed!0
