Declaring Pension

My pension is taken out via PAYE but the tax return still asks about details. Do I need to provide that online?

Yes. You need to input all your income otherwise the result will be wrong. If you leave off the pension income (but your Code number is restricted therefore you're paying tax on it?) .... but put down all tax deducted under PAYE then you will be credited with an overpayment. Which will be clawed back (once you've spent it !) once the Return is fully checked.
If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
  • I agree with Mikeyorks, you will need to put down all of your income received and tax paid (doesnt make a difference if it is from a PAYE source or not).
