I am after a la redoute catalogue to get clothes for the family but i can't seem to get one sent out to me as my credit is not good i don't want a credit account i want to order clothes and pay by cheque.
I have a visa electron and they don't accept this over the internet.
Can anyone help with any suggestions.

Basically you won't be able to use La Redoute unless you can get a friend to order the goods for you and pay them.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0

when i worked there they also offered cash only accounts for people who couldnt get credit - basically u pay as u order either with credit/debit card on phone (not solo, electron or american express) or send cheque in with order. have u phoned & asked for a catalogue on this basis? they may need to pass it on to credit dept if u already been refused but is worth a try. word of warning though - mistakes were made more often shopping this way as cheques & orders go to different depts & quite a few got separated so we received order but no payment or other way round! since leaving i ordered with card details & they had my pymt but not my order & it took months to get my £5 odd back - was only when i finally got a supervisor i used to work with they sorted it!! i left about 3 years ago though so things may have changed. personally i wouldn't bother! good luck if u do though.Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0

I'm currently long-term unemployed & have had goods from La Redoute in the past year by using my debit card & paying when I order ... so I would think you'd be able to use a cheque in a similar way
they're not very good at sending out catatlogues in the first place though!0
