    Just because homeless don't get hot meals that doesn't mean they don't want a hot meal. How grateful I am daily that we have the means to put hot food on our table.

    No, we have a soup kitchen in the hall we'll be using. We will have a camp fire outside but only for the warming of bones rather than cooking (we also have a serving hatch and will be setting up an oliver twist style long table with benches to sit at.

    dumplings in the soup'll fill 'em up, they'll be stuffed. cheapo white label flour and grated 26p tubs of marg, baking powder.

    Good for you!! My F-in-L helps on a soup run and he is 80. I think it's such a good idea to pass this info on to young people. A mug of soup from a flask and a few friendly words really help.
