Gah! my mailing has been binned! Can't believe it! all those lovely vouchers,

...perhaps it's been done on purpose to wake me up to my addiction:o

Anyway, has anyone USED the Umberto Giannai vials? They look good, but are they actually worth the money?

PS I will have a load of vouchers I'm not using that I'll post up tomorrow.
might have a pinkie too. I'll recycle the ones you gave me too Ikkle, if you don't want them back!

I also tried to use the £5 pc and pinky till spit etc on a few of the xmas gift sets but sadly no luck hence the reason for buying the mascara and eyeshadow

The lynx and king of shave items I got were on the normal shelves.

  • i have something i need to bring back and exchange which is £20. If i bring this back, and get the product i want to change it to which is £25, can i then buy something else at £25 and "pay" £30 (as £20 comes from the exchange) and still get the bonus 1000 points IYSWIM? Or does the till only see the £30 spend, and not the £20 credit. Hope this makes sense, as it seemed a lot clearer in my head before i wrote it down lol x
I would ask for the refund of £20 to be put onto a Boots giftcard then pay for the two £25 items using the giftcard and the £30 balance in cash. You should then get your bonus points as giftcards count as cash. If you can get a cash refund it would be simpler but a giftcard is fine as you want to spend the £20 in Boots anyway.

It should be fine even if you originally used a debit card or similar to pay for the item you want to return, AFAIK Boots should be happy to "exchange" it for a giftcard rather than insist on refunding your debit card.

About the UG vials, I used one tonight - I have VERY damaged hair, it is coloured and I straighten it every other day on average. The exlir vials smell very 'spa like', I think there must be some aromatherapy oils in them or something. Like I said my hair is long and damaged and I must say they did leave my hair quite soft and smelling quite nice. Although I did need to work a little conditioner through the ends of my hair to help detangle it a little. It does say on the box for normal/fine hair use as a conditioner or dry/damaged hair use before conditioner. I thought they would be 1 per use bottles, but I used about half a vial and my hair is just past my bra strap, which would work out with the glitch at 38p per application and they would make good stocking fillers. I wouldnt pay full price for them though there are better ones for £9.99 that you can buy. Sorry didnt mean to ramble so much. HTH xx

I was at Monks Cross too today Passion8 - they generally have a good range of things.

I got some S&G minis to go in little hampers I'm doing for pressies (and then the GWP for myself)

2 Sanctuary minis on 3 for 2 - for hampers as above

3 Natural collection nail varnishes to finish off handcare sets I've put together

Did Men's No7 3for2, got GWP and used £5 voucher off this - for pressies

Then did 3 for 2 on gifts, 2 are for OH, one for a friend's baby.

2 for £2 on Bodyform for me - boring but did get it over £50

    Total £51.87 - saved £22.18 and about 1200 points

Then went to Estee Lauder counter and got the foundation, concealer and GWP I wanted with my points - only have about £2 left now

Good shop, lots of bits I wanted for pressies and extra points meant I could have the EL things - but no food etc - just Christmas music playing over and over again

Ikkle you are very very kind!
I will be using three of the loads you sent me, but I'll share the love with the others on this site, as I too have far too many bits of paper sticking out of my purse.
