Make sure that you press finish and pay then, then press pay with coupons to put through the £5 no7 ones. I have tried rushing them and have frozen many of the tills doing this! The SA then comes over and gets all your vouchers back out of the slot and moves you to a different till!
Think it does not harm to try and if the SA becomes funny just act thick (that works well for me)!(i have about 12 vouchers to use in 1 transaction:eek: )

just use these http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=14468&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051 and really good hand cream...even aquaeous cream or vaseline will do it!0 -
If it beeps some times it just says conditions not met - if a GWP etc. Often with the points vouchers it says it puts them on till the end but on the odd ocassion it will not take a voucher the SA comes over, scans her card and tries it again, if still doesn't work she just hands it back saying you can't use that one. At the end of the day the SA can say you can't use voucher blah blah but as far as I am concerned if computer says YES, then I can use it, don't think they are really going to start voiding all things for sake of a few vouchers.moneysavingmumofone wrote: »Do you ever have problems getting the machine to register the fact you've put vouchers in? Its always doing this in tesco and have to get authorisation. Can they authorise from their till thing? If the voucher 'beeps' does an sa need to come over or can you just carry on your transaction? Thanks

I usually just scan the points coupons before pressing finish or scan after I know I have put that item through that relates to them points then continue with the rest.
Also don't look like a novice - the SA sometimes asks if you have used the tills before so say yes or they stay with you for the whole transaction.I may have lupus but it doesnt make me useless! I am a true believer in Karma, and am a typical cancerian.
