I can't see how it's policy, as if you want to return an item from dot com to a Boots store, I was told to return it to any Boots store. When I asked CS if they were sure (as I'd been refused previously) they said it's only a case of pressing a key on the till (or something) as there's supposed to be an option for Boots online items. I don't think many SAs were aware of it as when I did successfully return the item, it turned into a training exercise for the rest of the staff
Hth, but hope it makes sense too
I returned 3 of the 4 boxes of washing powder today (just didn't get along with it) to my local store. They don't stock any of that range but were quite happy to refund it. They refunded onto my debit card even though I paid with Paypal. I had to wait to see an assistant who knew how to do it but she was very friendly about it.

Thanks Ettenna
It does say on the Dispatch/Returns Note to take the note and items to your local store. No mention of 'local store that stocks the item'My local stocks the very basic of things - not much that anyone would order online iyswim?

Someone was asking about the time delay wipes - I had a reaction to them too - but had used the last ones ok.
I took 3 packs back, the opened one and 2 unopened ones without a receipt and asked if I could swap the sealed packets for Sanctuary wipes - which I know are fine for me as I got some with skincare spit too.
SA let me swap all 3 packets, i.e. the open one too, don't know how she put them through the till as the sancutary ones were a bit cheaper but she did it as a like for like swap and it was fine.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
