depends how much you are earning. its only paid if you are earning below the LEL (lower earnings limit) which for this tax year is £90pw. once you earn above that, your employer pays a contribution on your behalf, and you dont qualify for the auto credits (unless you dont earn above the LEL for the full 52 weeks of the year)
this is getting phased out soon, as the rules for pensions are being equalised for men and women. Auto Credits are only for men between the ages of 60 and 65.the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -
