tom tom one ,..... under £200 but now what do i do ??

pc world on tv at £219 ... couple of percent off via quidco....

carphone warehouse online at £220 but 10% available via quidco....
ordered mine wednesday afternoon ... arrived yesterday ... brilliant service ... great deal ...

now i've got it ... can someone advise what i should be doing as far as ... is there downloads i should be doing from wwww.tomtom.com....

or maybe more importantly ? ...from https://www.pocketgps.co.uk that i've heard lots of talk about .

Advise and guidance please...

As you've said go to Pocketgps and download the safety camera database.

boatman, that's really helpful, much appreciated.

i've downloaded the first couple ... followed the instructions on the POI copying ... but when i go onto the screen and through
change pref
manage poi
enable/disable poi

it shows long list ..airport...ferry...hotel... petrol..railway ... these are ticked ..the following 25 to 30 aren't ticked .. and theres no signs of speed cameras . ?????

i've also downloaded ..i think.. tom tom update 5.42 ... how do i actually check i have ?

Not sure what to suggest for the speed cameras except to say that you only need the 'ov2,.bmp' folder from the speed camera download.

checked and 5.42 is there fine.

tried the gps download again and it again says it's there ... re-did and still can't find it.

tried again and i got a warning box "disk in destinationdrive is full . Insert new disk to continue ??? !

looking at the pocketgps site .... notice it doesn't actually mention the Tom Tom One model ?

Do a software reset. There are instructions in the manual on how to do this. This will clear off the old files ect that you have installed then go over the process again. You really just copy the ov2 files directly into the maps folder and your done.

you might have to delete some of the voices to make room.
