Does it help if you get your child into stage school ?
  • I don't know if this is the right place, but I'd be happy to shoot portfolios for kids in the Essex / South East area. Basically, I shoot the pictures, you get prints and web versions, and then I get to sell the pictures through my agency.

There are a few child modeling agencies, but the golden rule is DO NOT pay money up front. Stay well away from Models Direct - they're a very well known scam. Pay about two hundred quid up front and you'll never see a job.

Who do you sell the pics to?

Some I sell direct to designers, mostly my agency sells them on my behalf. No idea who they go to. Can't be picky when you're a model or photographer!
  • Hi Parents,

My child is with an agency called Alphabet Kidz and i have found them really good.
There is a fee but it is resonable and my child has done shoots already with their wide range of clients.
    Is anybody else with them?

Hi all, I want to apply for modelling on behalf of my son who is nearly 2.

As you can understand, I feel uncomfortable in googling agencies and contacting them directly, in case they are dodgy.

Can you recommend and any good agencies or should I contact the companies directly (e.g. Mothercare, Next etc).

    Thanks in advance!

you took the worlds right out of my mouth,i have been trying to do this for the last few years for my daughter whos now 9. unfortunately lack of money means i will be stuck,so anyway round this to pull in extra income?
