Help with ticket for Alton Towers!

Hi. Hoping somebody can help me here. I am after getting a ticket for Alton Towers for Monday in the cheapest way possible! The problem is it is for my 16 year old son.
I have some Walkers BritTrip points but it says that the account holder(which is me) must be present when getting the ticket and I am not going. Also have checked out lastminute.com and you need to take the credit card that you paid for the ticket with and the e-mail confirmation to prove ID (which again is me). It seems a bit crazy that if you are over 12 you have to buy an adult ticket but then again a 16 year old wouldn't have a credit card with which to buy a ticket so somebody would have to buy it for him. Any suggestions please.

Heya, I had the same problem in that the account was in my mums name. You can change the name on the account on brittrips
Log in as usual. Then go to the "my account" section" on the left hand side (its in green). Then click on "update details" and simply enter your sons name as the account name. You can then print off the tickets and they have your sons name on then rather than yours. This can be done as many times as needed

Have just tried this but it will only let me change the name, not the e-mail address and date of birth, so is this a problem for printing the tickets. More concerned with the date of birth really. Don't know if you have to be a certain age for the BritTrips? If practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect....................................

Sugar Puffs (I don't know if other cereals do too) have buy one get one free vouchers on them at the moment.
I also got vouchers from http://www.raring2go.co.uk/uploads/nationals/Alton-Towers-Scarefest.pdf“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

Its okay, the email address and date of birth dont show up on the print out ticket thing
Its just a barcode, and the persons name at the top, followed by a lot of Ts&Cs. This is how it was when i printed out the tickets for me and all my friends using my mums account
all had the same DOB and email and it never showed up. Also had no problems getting in.
