when all your insurances are next due, use the 'tutorials' on this site to get the best deals plus get cashback on top.

re. gas and electric - use a switching site to see who is cheapest for you - then use cashback site eg. quidco to see who will give you the best cashback for that switch.

phone/tv etc - use the sections on this site to find the best deals. eg. sky bband/tv etc from £17 plus bt landline. it seems like you don't have the cash for 'extras' so stop buying the films etc.

i don't know where you live, but there are threads on here so you can get 'free' cinema tickets.

re. your £70 mobile contract, do you have to give a month's notice for it - check.

water rates - that's a lot for one person. are you on a meter? if you cannot have one you can get assessed so that you pay less.

your food budget can easily be halved if it's just you - it's a great way to make savings. cut out and/or print money-off coupons (from this site) to save on your bill in asda (10%) and tescos (as many as you like as long as their different) - you don't have to buy the items as long as they sell them. spend sometime on the old-style board too.

finally, stop all unneccessary spending until you get your budget under control x
