I don't want to put a downer on this but I bought this a couple of years ago for my daughter and the voice recognition just didn't work at all.0

I agree, we even rcorded my daughters voice saying the password and it still wouldn't recognise it.I don't want to put a downer on this but I bought this a couple of years ago for my daughter and the voice recognition just didn't work at all.
It ended up in the charity shop after gathering dust in a cupboard for six months.0 -
I nearly bought it on Amazon a little while ago when it was on offer, but the reviews had said the same thing.0

Voice recognition is very tempermantal.
We have just got the High School Musical Musical Journal. Bit overpriced as only contain notepad / pen, but opens using number keys (1 - 4) so any 4 character combo, and it plays music when it opens - much better IMO
between £15 - £20
http://www.amazon.co.uk/High-School-Musical-Journal/dp/B0018AAI8U - £19.99
http://www.mailorderexpress.com/Vivid_Imaginations_High_School_Musical_Musical_Journal.asp £16.990 -
have to agree with everyone our daughter wanted on for ages and when we got it a complete waste of money and ended in the cupboard after 2 day, the voice recognition is horrible.
When we bought it we joked that for £20 it cost £14 for advertising, £2 to make and the rest profit.
We also saw it in America in Oct for what worked out at the time to £7 in Walmart, goes without saying that should be the real price.0
