That's great- we've ordered one as its ideal for my husband who isn't interested in extra features, just storage and quality of sound. the reviews on cnet are intresting. Couldn't get any of the £15 codes to work, but a £10 one did, and with triple points its even better.

Same here, thanks for the tip. I've been looking at mp3 players for a while and was pretty close to buying a 1GB player for about £80 so the 20GB on this player looks to be a nice bonus. Can retire my 128MB USB flash drive that I keep losing too.

I guess they're trying to clear out XS200 stock to make way for the XS202 that has a better screen, support for protected formats, interfacing with WMP and longer battery life. Still, none of these things are particularly important to me so it's still a good deal and I read somewhere that XS200 actually has a much faster data transfer speed.

First thing that I will do when it arrives is get the firmware update if it doesn't come preinstalled as it fixes some of the problems that I saw some reviews complaining about.

Had a quick look at the manual online and it says there will be a Setup > System menu option that will show the current OS version somewhere.

Had anyone had shipment on this yet? Mine is still being processed, hope they aren't going to take too long.

*EDIT* Oh boy, just checked the boots website and the Archos now displays "Stock coming soon". This doesn't bode well...
