Shawfield Greyhounds, Glasgow?

Anyone been? We were going to go there for a Christmas night out, but info is scarce. It seems only the Christmas Menu will be available in the restaurant - no bargain at 30 quid for a turkey dinner!

Anybody know if there are other bars/food places on site?
What kind of night is it?

Thanks for any info.

My advice, don't do it. I picked the steak when I went and i'm
sure it was running the week before. It's a bit down-market
but i'm sure if you were winning, you would think it was a
    good night out.

We were looking for something "different" for a works night out. Didn't really want to do the dressing up party night where you pay a fortune, and get weak measures. :rotfl:

    I don't blame you.

It's good fun, but there are loads of dirty old men there; last time I was there it was full of advertisers handing out leaflets for a local strip club :S
  • Please don't go and support the terrible cruelty associated with greyhound racing.
