My Abbey tracker (an old one) changes at the start of every month.

It does but the way I read it we won`t see the benefit until the December payment but the rate reduction will take place in Nov.

I don't know how yours works but we have had our tracker for years and it has never bothered me because it works the same way when rates rise, so I win on those.

We just pay a fixed amount and any extra is overpayment so we don't see the ups and downs in our pocket so to speak. I can understand your upset if you were looking forward to one months lower payment.

To be sure, give them a ring.

The one I have the amounts automatically change. If you want to make an overpayment you can but you have to tell them thats what it is otherwise the overpayment just sits on the account and they just reduce the DD.
