Have you played snatch and grab raffle?

The new one my team seem to be doing is the balloon game - get various balloons ask everyone to pick one then the first to blow up and sit on it and burst it wins the prize - this gets lots of laughs and breaks the ice.

Requires paper and pens to each guest then go round the room and ask individual guests to write down the first thing that comes into there head when you read out the following.

Then read the story out load asking the guests to say what they have written down. The numbers in red represent when you should ask the guest to say what they have written


It was the day___HOSTESS_________ candles arrived and she was so excited! She ripped open the box and in it was 1 candles she was very tempted to light everything but decided her girlfriends might not be too happy with her if she lit all of their candles so she only used the candles she received for free.

That night was a very special because it was 2 and she planned to burn all 3 of her new candles for the occasion. She was especially excited to light her 4 pillar candle but there were other preparations she had to complete first.

She chilled the 5 prepared some 6 and began to get herself ready, she painted her nails with the latest shimmering 7 nail polish , styles her hair into a 8 and sprayed perfume on her 9. Then she slipped into her sexiest lingerie just in time to meet her significant other at the door. She opened the door and he stood there looking like 10. The second he saw her he said 11 He was so overwhelmed by her looks that he stood stunned in his tracks. (hostess name) strolled up to him and in her most 12 tone of voice she whispered in his 13 . The candles are burning go to the 14 and ill be right there!

She dashed to the kitchen to get bottle of 15 and two champagne glasses. She threw open the door to find her favourite guy standing there in nothing but his 16 they fell into each others 17 and as he gazed into her 18 and ran his 19 through her hair he said she was the most beautiful woman in the world even more beautiful than 20

Then like a charging 21 he grabbled her in his arms and whispered into her 22 WOW these Partylite candles are FANTASTIC!
