Correct me if I'm wrong but on the Hostess Specials leaflet for July it says hostess to get 15% with £165 and one booking. So why is it only coming up 10% on the order? Urgent response would be fab as I desperately want to get this order off tonight.

My letter must have arrived last week, but I was on holiday! Hope I haven't missed the boat with the stuff I want to order, I'll be sending it tomorrow!

Im sure you wont have Liz, if you have I only sent mine off today so we will have both missed the boat. There will be another chance to buy more stuff online anyway apparently and then again at conference.

Has anyone thought about starting their Xmas promotion? I think that's the only way I'll be able to get parties at the moment. Any tips?

Ive started mentioning the new christmas catalogue, am having a party end of August at my house to sell off old stock, last chance foe people to order from current catalogue and a sneak preview of Autumn and winter. Once we've seen it at conference I think it'll be easier to promote.

I doubt I'll make just one more, but I'm going for August parties instead. I like the idea of selling off old stuff/last chance to buy and sneak preview. Have you got many things to sell off? Will everything from the current catalogue be discontinued or just certain items?

Heya Liz, not all the catalogue changes some will stay in there. So not sure how much I will have to sell until I see the new catalogue, Im getting so excited about it though.

I've done just one more - must send sheet away!!! I too have an August party and sell off products as well as taking orders for last minute summer products and new Autumn/Winter products. I usually do quite well!

I have started promoting Xmas as well.

I have planned 2 xmas launch nights in 2 different areas.

This is a fab idea which works well, but would be better if there were a few of you.

Get a hall or place which is free to hold a event - Invite all friends, family, previous guests, hostess's, advertise everywhere.

Take along as much xmas stuff as you have (after conference you will have a few pieces) and make it a fun night. I will be doing mystery hostess, raffle of old products.

Giving away a gift on the night for anyone booking a party then.

Also promoting the PartyLite Opportunity so you can build your team.

I have seen them done before but this will be my first of my own so hopefully once I have done it can let you all know how it went!
