The question - 'what was the debt for?' and date incurred if you are anwsering this from a credit card point of you what would be a suitable?
A loan i understand eg 'a car' and date the loan was taken out but cards are slightly tricky.. any help would be super
Thanks

Thanks for that the date is the tricky bit but i guess a ball park date will suffice.
Also in the 'employment and present income' if you are on job seekers I guess you miss 6.3 Take home pay / 6.4 Tax paid / 6.5 NI paid and lump all benefits together and put them in 6.6 ... is that right
Thanks all0 -
Re the cc dates - if the OR is that concerned he can request the statements from the cc company and have the exact dates from those! Unlikely to happen - ballpark will do I'm sure. Not sure about the form, but what you've said sounds ok! CBx0

Yep.
Don't worry to much about the "what was the debt for" question on the cards. There will be opportunity to explain, and the OR is used to seeing a big variation in how CC debt is built up.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
