I make 7 lots of sandwiches everyday and send my lot off with fruit etc, but invariably there is a top up added along the line. On average, we spend about 1.50 a day....now if only it could always be a no spend day!!

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

As NHS staff we do not have a lunch break, so a quick sandwich, which I make myself, so probably less than 50p a day. Hot soup would be lovely for a change!!
  • I spend about £2 for the children each for a healthy cooked lunch at school and I pay £3 once a week for me. Mostly though I make my own sandwiches!
  • :j I now only have a bought lunch once a month in the true spirit of moneysaving.

Lunch boxes cost approx £1.50 a day for two people.
