When I bring in leftovers lunch probably costs me £1; otherwise it's £5.50 on average for a hot lunch with plenty veg... this usually is when I can't find any plastic tubs at home (hint hint!

i sometimes boil a packet of noodles.
season with hot pepper sauce.
fry a whole pack of Cumberland sausages and slice one over the drained noodles.
delicately fold the sausages into the noodles.
transfer hot meal to a food flask and look forward to lunch-time!
grab a banana, conference pear or apple for afters.
(place balance of sausages in fridge for following days).
works out to around £1.80 per day!
don't knock it till you try it as it beats a Pot Noodle; hands down!

depends on weather - on warm days probably about £3 (supermarket sandwich coffee/soft drink), but on cold days need something warmer and then it can come to £3.50/£4 - the chiller bag would be a great as it would also keep food warm and the thermos would be ideal for a warming soup.
My mouth is watering at the thought of homemade soup and pasties if I should be one of the lucky ones :j
thanks for blagging this great opportunity0 -
packed lunch approx. £10
