  • Depends...daughter's school lunch costs £1.50 - I used to send packed lunches but it broke my heart to see them come home uneaten.

For me, if it's out with friends, then £5 or £6, but usually at home or packed so maybe £1?
  • I take a packed Lunch every day to work so about 50p.
  • £3.00 per day
  • A different homemade soup every day - really cheap

Well, I see it the other way round.
I live alone and therefore, if I can get a cooked meal for £2.50 at the pretty good canteen at work, I have my main meal during the day.
    It's healthier too...
And then when I come home, I can spend time making a fabulous sandwich or maybe a tea/coffee with HM cake.

PS And I bring my coffee in a carry flask with me to work.....
  • I must spend approx £2.00 per child of which I have 2 and about £1 for me as I make home made soup and take it in daily.
  • Well the answer depends on if I have any leftovers! If not then it's usually soup and a sandwich (upwards of £4...) so I would hazard a guess that on average about £2-4 a day.
  • No more than £1 a day.

    Hi all

I pack hubby up for work every day -this weather lots of home made soups, stews n casseroles with hm bread ;)
I doubt that his lunch rarely costs over about 50p :D
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5
  • Depends, if I make a packed lunch it'll be under a pound, but if I run out of rolls or forget it and have to buy it it''' be about £2.50.
