On the freebies board there is a pattern to send off for, to knit your own Dr Who scarf.

you can get dr who flashing charms for mobile phones. Boots had them last year but sure you can get them on ebay or possibly amazon.
  • 30yr old female! :rotfl: i should have known, my sis is a mad fan too, she watches it with my son. does she have crocs? you can get dr who shoe charms on ebay.
The scarf is a good one too, i knitted it for my son but found it expensive to get all the wool. and there is a mini tardis phone alerter in toys R us, when you get a txt the tardis makes its wooshing noises.
If you really want to push the boat out there are some great cookie jars out there but are about £30.
  • If you want to go all out you can usually get remote control K9 toys on ebay cheap - I got the huge one that's about £50 in stores for £13.

But on a smaller scale, HMV sell the tardis phone charm that makes a big fuss when you get a text or call, you can pick up a variety of Doctor Who books from waterstones for £5 or less, and you can write to David Tennant (Address is somewhere in the freebies forum) for an autograph.

For things that are very cheap but doctor who related, some tea (David Tennat's doctor was revived by tea so she should be amused by that little link) and some 3D specs would be low cost but link to the show still.

You could also go to Woolies and buy her an action figure. I may be 22 but I was very pleased when I was bought one!

Firebox has them-and some other Dr Who bits too. I have some firebox voucher codes (probably for £5, which covers P+P and about £1 off the price). PM me if you want some. Get them with every CD wow order, so will never use them all. Maybe I should stop buying so many CD's....LOL!
Also the book people had some stuff when I was looking last night. There's a free P+P code for them on HDUK.

(32 year old female) I have just bought my 2 dds a bracelet to put these charms on. A bracelet, with Slitheen, Tardis and cyberman charm X2 including postage on ebay, was £6.75.
    Loving the dtd thread. x

What about a personalised mug? With doctor who on :T

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Personalised-Photo-Mug-your-pic-text-birthday-gift_W0QQitemZ170273175420QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item170273175420&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A3%7C65%3A10%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

They do personalised mugs. It says your own picture but i dont see there would be a problem with a doctor who picture?
Proud mummy to 3 beautiful children who I love so so much :oxxxx

Baby girl due april 2016! cant wait to meet her. xxx
  • I think i'll pop to Wilkinsons on the weekend and see what bits they have in stock...she'd love a doctor who pen (bit of a pen fanatic!)

I'm no knitter, but I am a sewer so i'll deffo give that plush adipose baby a go...if it looks a little demented, she'll find it even more amusing!

The charm bracelet and the personalised mug are also great ideas i think ill go for..she already has the phone charm and the remote control k9 dog..

i might even consider writing to the great david himself for an autograph for her! :D

    thanks again one and all

  • :j Hi, I was in Icelands last night & notices next to all the festive choc boxes some pencil case tins, of which one was Dr Who, for £2 each with candies inside. They looked pretty good. Hope this helps you with your Hamper.
